Sharon Diane Turner
December 22, 1959 - March 2, 1976
Sharon Diane Turner
Sherry was only 16 years old when her life was taken from her and her family. Sherry's sister, Lisa was only 12 years old; they shared a bedroom. Her brother Bradley was only 3. He was the light of Sherry's life. Then she was murdered on Mardi Gras, 1976 in Lafayette LA.
A big part of Sherry's mother, Jackie, died along with her. She never fully recovered; not just from Sherry's death but having to live with the fact that those responsible were never brought to justice.
Even though it's been 50 years since her death, our family has never given up hope that someone will do the right thing and bring Sherry and her family some peace and even a small amount of justice.

Sherry was bright, creative, funny, and so much more. She had typical teenage growing pains and unfortunately got involved with the wrong crowd; they ended up taking her life.
Sherry; your family has never forgotten you and so much wish you had been a part of our lives.
There is a forever missing piece of your family when someone so young dies.
