Lafayette, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1:30 PM in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Elsie Breaux Domingue, age 95, who passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Cedar Crest Memory Care in Lafayette.

Entombment will be held in Sts. Peter & Paul Mausoleum.

Survivors include her children, Randall Domingue and his wife Marsha, Billy Domingue and his wife Joy, Nikki Rhodes and her husband David, Vicky Domingue, Keith Domingue, and Simone Metzdorff and her husband John; thirteen grandchildren, Benjamin Domingue, Sarah Khalid, Pierre Domingue, Adele Domingue, Scott Domingue, Bryan Rhodes, Anna Rhodes, Joshua Domingue, Beau Domingue, Lance Domingue, Jeff Metzdorff, Samantha Shimota, and Sophia Metzdorff; fourteen great grandchildren, Kyleigh Brown, Mayssa Harrati, Nayla Harrati, Lillian Domingue, Ramona Domingue, Frances Domingue, Abigail Rhodes, David Bryan Rhodes III, Thomas Domingue, Patrick Domingue, Julia Domingue, Austin Khalid, Sydney Khalid, and Lily Domingue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie George Domingue; parents, Donna Dieu Breaux and Elada Stoute Breaux; and son, Mark Domingue.

Grandma to her grandchildren, Grandma Elsie to her great-grandchildren, Tante Lou Lou or Aunt Elsie to her nieces and nephews, and Mama or Mom to her children-she was loved by all. She was well known for her many talents, which included her love for cooking, particularly her delectable stewed chicken; sewing handcrafted clothing for her grandchildren; and filling Christmas tins with handmade millionaires and other candies into which she poured her love.

Her greatest joy was having all of her children and grandchildren present for holiday meals and gatherings as often as possible. She made and delivered cakes to the nursing home and prepared meals for others whenever the need arose.

Elsie was a faithful servant of God and a cherished role model to her extended family.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Domingue, Pierre Domingue, Scott Domingue, Beau Domingue, Josh Domingue, Lance Domingue and Bryan Rhodes.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11:30 AM in Martin & Castille's SCOTT Location.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM until time of services.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Elsie's caregiver, Robbi Foreman, for the love and care given to Elsie and her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elsie's name to National MS Society P.O. Box 91891, Washington, D.C. 20090-1891.
