Classie Belle Williams Obituary
Baton Rouge, LA - Classie Belle Williams, 95, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025. Born in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Martha Curtis and Trinity Williams, she was the youngest of five children and grew up in the close-knit community of "Neco Town." Known for her playful spirit and love for family, Classie's laughter brightened every room.
She was a proud Southern University graduate with a degree in business and worked for American Bank for many years. A devout Catholic, Classie lived her faith daily. She was active with the Ladies of Auxiliary at Immaculate Conception, an Adorer at Our Lady of Mercy, and a volunteer with the Catholic Diocese.
She is survived by her sister, Ethel Mouton (103 years old), daughters Judy Tauriac London and Andrea Batiste Hopkins (spouse Reginald), six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends to treasure her legacy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings (Lucille, Jonoth, Ruby), former significant others (Walter and Irving), and is now lovingly reunited with her infant son, Joseph.
